Dr Victoria Karney MA. Cantab. MBBS. MFHom.

About me:
I have over 40 years' experience practising medicine as a GP and Homeopath. First studying medicine at the University of Cambridge and King's College London, before later studying Homeopathy with the Faculty of Homeopathy. I am a current member of the Faculty of Homeopathy, and retired from NHS General Practice in 2014.

Since then I have continued to care for patients privately using homeopathic techniques, in Sheffield and surrounding areas. I continue to study and treat a wide range of medical and psychological conditions in any age group. Children respond particularly well to homeopathic treatment to regain health and vitality. With decades of experience in family medicine and caring for my own grandchildren, I'm particularly passionate about supporting children with homeopathy.

How it works:
A homeopathic consultation takes a detailed look at your symptoms and causative factors. Homeopathic treatments can also have psychological benefits. I will then offer advice and prescriptions of homeopathic medicines that are tailored to your needs. My aim is to treat patients holistically, restoring better health and well being.

As I'm a member of the Faculty of Homeopathy I can accept payments through many private healthcare schemes, such as Westfield Health.

Please note: I am not a pharmacy and can only issue homeopathic medicines to patients I have seen for a consultation.

How Does it Work?

How do appointments work?

  • Please call or use the below contact form to arrange a telephone discussion.

  • In the first instance we will speak over the phone to discuss if I am able to help you with Homeopathic treatment and costs.

​​

  • ​I will arrange an appointment for consultation at my home. Video or phone consultations are also available, although I prefer to see patients face to face initially.

​​

  • Homeopathic medication will be sent to you after consultation.

​​

  • I follow up after 4 weeks.

​​

  • If necessary further consultation or telephone appointments can be arranged.
