About Homeopathy

History of Homeopathy.

Homeopathic medicines where developed in the late 18th century by a German physician Dr Samuel Hahnemann. He devised a way of reducing the toxic effects of medicines by serial dilution and succussion of the material. There is a physical possibly electromagnetic memory which becomes more potent and the chemical quantities are diluted. He found that a medical condition which mirrored the natural picture of the plant or mineral could be used in homeopathic potencies to treat that patient. Therefore the selection of the medicine is specific to that patient.
